The Economic Revolution
Before and after the story of the man called Jesus Christ the Roman Empire ruled for five hundred years under the republic rule of an aristocratic government covering Europe and neighboring countries. Gold and silver coins expanded trade as Christianity grew marking the decline of the Roman Empire.
Throughout the middle ages the crusaders discovered Islam had preserved the knowledge and wisdom of ancient Greece and Rome. Soon the renaissance,”the rediscovery of philosophy” and art was reborn giving life to the economic revolution.
Science advanced agriculture with industrial tools, producing more goods for market at greater quantities. Financial gain was limitless under capital investment as long as supply and demand was met.
Political power combined with military strength pushed countries for control of regional resources leading to wars.
The constant advancement of technology has depleted our economy worldwide to the point of capital loss in every financial market as a result of capitalist greed.
The economic revolution brought light to the world and some day it will take it back.
